Corsica is a mountain in the sea, but it is in the West Corsica region that this expression really takes on its full meaning. By discovering this region, you will be captivated by the natural simplicity, the sweetness of life and the preserved authenticity.

Below are some of the must-see sites.

Country of Ajaccio

To the south, it is the Country of Ajaccio which is offered to you, with its superb beaches (Sanguinaires, Porticcio, Isolella ...), its mountainous hinterland (Forest of Vizzavone, Lake of Tolla ...) and its cultural activities (Musée Fech, Napoleon Bonaparte's house ...).

To see & do

The West Corsica region and the Ajaccio area are full of remarkable sites to visit, by car, motorbike or bicycle, by boat or on hiking trails. The beaches are more beautiful than the others, and apart from a few beaches on the south shore of Ajaccio in August, they are rarely crowded. The sunsets on the Bloody Islands or on the Gulf of Sagone, admired from the seaside, from a restaurant terrace or from a summit, are wonderful.

A week's stay will not be too much to discover this beautiful region. Many of our guests, visiting for only one or two nights, have confessed their frustration at not having planned more time to enjoy the area. We recommend a minimum stay of 3 days to see the essential sites and better still, a week to fully explore the area.
Here are our recommendations of things to see and do:
